A Message from the Principal:
As the saying goes, 'Time flies when you are having fun'. Well time is certainly flying and this is evidenced by the beginning of the second semester at our high school. Our students, families, faculty and staff are having fun as we celebrate the accomplishments of our student body.
In order to progress and enhance our program, as well as provide opportunities for our students and your children to succeed, it is essential to build upon the collaborative efforts between school and home. One of the efforts must be constant and open communication among all constituent groups. We are fortunate to have a web based student management software system called Infinite Campus. One of the many benefits of this system is the Parent Portal. This feature affords parents/guardians an opportunity to view their child's report cards, progress reports, attendance, behavior, schedule, etc, on the web. In order to access the Parent Portal you must register first. This can be accomplished by following the procedure outlined by navigating to: www.sayville.k12.ny.us at QUICKLINKS and PARENT PORTALS. Here you will find the Parent Portals Access Request Form. Once you have filled out the Access Request Form, it can be submitted to the Main Office during Parent Teacher Conference Night on Wednesday, March 10th or any school day, in the High School's Attendance Office. We do anticipate providing report card and progress report information exclusively via the Parent Portal beginning next school year. Therefore, it would be beneficial if all of our families took advantage of this means of communication.
